About the Role

Our Small Business Specialists are based in ANZ branches and provide full lending and working capital solutions to new and existing business customers. They also engage existing customers by making outbound calls, to identity and support additional needs.

Collaborating with product partners and other team members, Small Business Specialists ensure appropriate lending and working capital solutions are provided to fulfil customer needs.

Work Hours: Full-time (40 Hours/Week)

What will your day look like?

As a Small Business Specialist, you will:

• Meeting a broad range of business customers in the branch to understand their business banking needs
• Phoning existing customers to understand if they have additional banking needs
• Collaborating with product partners and other stakeholders to fulfil customer needs
• Acting in the best interest of the customer to support their business needs with suitable products and services
• Building relationships with the local community to drive commercial value.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external networks.
• Ability to meet and exceed performance targets.
• Ability to assess a customer's ability to fulfill their credit obligations, considering both qualitative and quantitative factors (the 5Cs of credit).
• Knowledge of small business operations, lending and transaction banking and working capital solutions.
• Knowledge of financial terminology, financial statements (such as Profit and Loss, balance sheets and cashflow statements) to evaluate the impact of a business decision.
• Knowledge of lending and cashflow needs and solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep track of customer documentation, banking transactions, and internal communications.
