About the Role

We’re seeking a Small Business Cashflow Specialist to join our close-knit team in Docklands, Melbourne. Working on a hybrid structure with a 5 day fortnight in office, you’ll be connecting with new and existing portfolio managed small business customers via an inbound phone line to understand the customer and their business aspirations to support their immediate cashflow requirements.

Successful candidates will complete our internal Commercial Banking Induction & Foundation Credit courses to get up to speed on the specifics of their new role and how we operate with the systems and platforms in the SME Division at ANZ.

This is a great opportunity for people with a passion for customer service whom are looking to start a career in commercial banking. This role is the perfect foundation to understanding Small Business Credit and is seen as the opening gate to many more opportunities within ANZ such as more technical lending and relationship management roles.

What will your day look like?

As a Small Business Cashflow Specialist, you will be:

  • Answering inbound phone calls and conducting needs-based conversations through an A-Z Review platform
  • Providing valuable guidance and tailored solution-based recommendations to fulfill end-to-end requirements within a customers business
  • Taking ownership of customer resolutions and using stakeholder communication skills to seek outcomes in a timely manner
  • Identifying additional customer needs and referring the customer to an appropriate channel i.e. Home Lending or Business Lending
  • Collaborating with the team and showing up with a positive attitude to contribute to a high-performance culture

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Strong customer service and business development experience
• Be comfortable working with a wide range of clients face to face
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Ability to work cohesively in a team
• Commercial Banking and Retail Banking experience will be highly regarded
