This is a pivotal opportunity to join the organisation at a time of significant growth and evolution within the People Operations branch. With leadership capability a key organisational priority, this role will play a central part in shaping the future leadership profile of the organisation.
Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, you will be a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, leading a specialist group of Senior Talent Specialists and Executive Search Consultants. Together, you will deliver high‑quality, compliant, and customer‑focused recruitment services across leadership roles from Grade 9 through to TSSE level. You will provide clear direction, oversight, and prioritisation of demand, proactively managing workloads and performance to ensure consistent and timely outcomes.
In addition to leading the team, you will contribute directly to high‑impact appointments, including Board and Band 3 roles. The role also has a strong advisory and commercial focus, providing high‑quality insights, analysis, and reporting to senior stakeholders to support workforce planning, resourcing decisions, forecasting, and broader organisational planning
About you
You are a proven Talent Acquisition leader with executive search experience and the credibility to operate confidently at the most senior organisational levels. You balance strategic leadership with pragmatic delivery and are comfortable remaining hands‑on when required to ensure outcomes are achieved and standards are upheld.
As an experienced people leader, you are known for building capable, engaged, and high‑performing teams through clear expectations, coaching, and role modelling best practice. You partner effectively with executives and senior stakeholders, bringing sound judgement and trusted advice to complex hiring and workforce decisions.
You bring extensive experience delivering end‑to‑end recruitment services and enterprise‑wide talent strategies, with a demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, uplift service quality, and strengthen organisational capability and impact.
