In this role, you'll:


Work as part of a team delivering secure, scalable and user‑centric integrated digital solutions across the Infrastructure Projects and Engineering division, this role will see you lead the design, build and delivery of enterprise solutions, set engineering standards and patterns, and grow a high‑performing solutions engineering capability aligned to branch and divisional priorities.


You will lead and govern new and consistent engineering frameworks, architectural patterns and delivery efficiencies in a complex, multi‑stream digital delivery environment where reliability, security, accessibility and pace of change must be carefully balanced.

About you


Your strong technical leadership, architectural judgement and people management capability, formed across software engineering, digital transformation, enterprise platforms, infrastructure or large‑scale public or private sector environments, will see you excel in translating strategy into delivery, overcoming competing priorities and technical risk, and embedding secure‑by‑design, scalable engineering practices to lead to high‑quality digital solutions, improved delivery consistency and measurable value for the organisation.


You’re recognised as a credible engineering leader and trusted technical authority, skilled at setting direction, chairing solution design reviews and influencing senior stakeholders, experienced in modern software engineering, integrated solution design, governance, vendor management and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams at scale.
