In this role, you'll:


Join a team as the Senior Manager with direct input and influence with the Senior Leadership team and report directly to the Executive Director. You will manage a team of Health and Safety practitioners tasked with the development and implementation of innovative safety initiatives across our organisation and the uplift of our Safety Culture across TfNSW.

As the Senior Manager you will oversee and implement safety policies, protocols and procedures, maintain accurate records and facilitates training in compliance with NSW State Government regulations. This includes the Rail Safety National Law, Work Health and Safety Act, Work Health and Safety Regulation, Heavy Vehicle National Law, and relevant Codes of Practice

Your passion for shaping a proactive safety culture and driving strategic change will play a pivotal part in the success if this role. You will work closely with senior leaders to embed safety into every aspect of our operations, champion continuous improvement, and influence behavioural change. You’ll bring deep expertise in safety leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement to create a safer, healthier workplace for all.

You are an accomplished and influential safety leader with a passion for driving excellence and shaping the future of safety for TfNSW. As a technical expert, you possess a deep understanding of the Health & Safety industry with a proven ability to navigate complex safety challenges and stakeholders within large-scale infrastructure projects.
