HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:- Install, assemble, and repair sheet metal ductwork and HVAC systems according to specifications and safety standards- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components using hand tools and power equipment- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate installation- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete projects on time and within budget- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing HVAC systems- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies
Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience as an HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication, and installation techniques- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, EPA) preferred- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined or elevated spacesRequirements
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
