In this role, you'll:
Join the IPE Rail Fleet Programs team and this role will see you lead the implementation of the project safety and technical assurance plan, and coordinate safety and technical assurance documentation to approving authorities such as Network Access Committees and the Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR).
Integral to this role is establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships through effective communication and negotiation to ensure project deliverables are met and co-ordinating with the Operator / Maintainer to integrate the fleet into existing operations and maintenance of the rail network for seamless customer experience.

About you
You will have demonstrated experience in the management of technical and safety risks in infrastructure projects and a good understanding of integration of new fleet and the assurance that is required around fleet.
You have demonstrated ability in leading and motivating a team of specialist staff, facilitating their ongoing professional development,and maximising their performance to deliver optimal outcomes.
You will also have demonstrated knowledge of the rollingstock and rail infrastructure industries, including industry participants, rollingstock manufacturing trends and operational requirements, under relevant state and national legislation.
A background in Fleet is highly desirable.
Experience taking fleet to operational readiness and deployment is also highly desirable.
