Job Description

The Slots Performance and SDS Manager is responsible in leading the performance team to achieve the department’s goals and objectives in a timely and efficient manner including focus on guest relations and maximization of revenue opportunities. Coordinates the implementation of all SDS development efforts.

Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Slots department. Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

· Create effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.

· Shares responsibility for layouts to installations of slot machines..

· Maintains files of all slot machines within SDS. Ensures required documentation and training is provided upon transition.

· Must have a high understanding of slot machine PAR sheets and the configuration of slot machines to maximize the profitability of the slot floor

· Develops and delivers SDS management reports in support of Machine Performance and Maintenance, Slot Customer Service Standards and Slot Operations productivity.

· Assists in the planning and the execution of programs to improve slot revenue growth, operational costs and customer service levels assigned.

· Assist with scheduling of troubleshooting and repair of machine malfunctions and player tracking system problems. Writes correspondence needed to move, convert, or install slot related equipment.

· Schedules preventative maintenance of slot machines.

· Carries out the development, execution and measurement of departmental service standards for the Slot Technical team.

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.

· Monitors and maintains the total logistic requirements of an effective slot repair operation, always anticipating the needs of today and the future.

· Oversees repairs, modifications and preventive maintenance on all associated slot equipment. Coordinates slot movements, modifications, upgrades and installations with vendors, regulatory agencies and support areas.

· Directs investigations of customer concerns regarding slot machines that are beyond the scope of slot service personnel.

· Ensures compliance with Louisiana State regulations by all members of the Performance team.

· Monitors customer satisfaction of slot product and makes recommendations for change.

· Engineering major or work experience.

· Two to four years previous experience in the position.

· Strong analytical and logical skills required.

· AutoCad and SDS skills required.

· Ability to communicate through all levels of the operation is required.

· Strong technical background and strong supervisory, leadership and communication skills essential.

· Knowledge of Louisiana State regulations pertaining to Slots (preferred.)

· Expertise in the repair of slot machines and equipment.

· Strong mechanical aptitude plus SDS and relevant computer skills required.

· Projects professionalism and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.

· Energetic and positive driver of guest services with knowledge and personal exhibition of Family Style Service.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, as well as lie on back to work inside the confines of a slot machine cabinet for long periods of time. Must be able to push and lift weights up to 100 pounds. Must be able to see small objects in poorly lighted areas. Must possess coordination and manual dexterity to work with power saws, etc. Must be able to continuously maneuver around casino/hotel as needed. Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest demands in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
