ProAmpac, based in Greensboro, NC is a leading manufacturer of twisted paper yarns since 1977. We manufacture a wide range of round or shaped paper yarns to be used in the industrial production of wicker furniture and retail packaging.

Essential Duties:

• Use clamp truck to move rolls of paper
• Load paper roll into machine by automatic lift
• Operate an overhead crane when needed to lift rolls
• Complete daily production log
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must understand how to read a measuring tool to set up cutting blades in the proper combination of sizes
• Previous Manufacturing Machine Operator experience required
• Must be able to work overtime as needed, including 10-12 hour shifts, Saturdays and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift 2-8 lbs. continuously and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Tolerance to working in hot, humid conditions
• Must adhere to company policies, safety rules and regulations and wear PPE

Training will be on first shift. First shift hours: 7 AM - 3 PM. Overtime will require earlier start times.

This position will be on second shift. Second shift hours will be 3 PM - 11 PM, with overtime requiring later ending times.
