About The Department:

• The Sleep Laboratory at Montrose Regional Health will ease your anxiety and help you discover why you are not getting that perfect night of sleep. A team of sleep technicians and a Sleep Board-Certified Pulmonologist are ready to help you. Together, the staff has over 50 years of experience in the field of sleep medicine.

About the Career:

• The Sleep Technician Trainee is a multi-skilled individual who will work under the direct supervision of one of our Registered Sleep Technologists to learn the skills necessary to become a Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT). On-the-job training along with self-study material will provide the necessary education and clinical experience to sit for the CPSGT exam. Certification must occur within six (6) months of hire.

All About You

• Minimum education requirement is high school diploma or GED.
• Medical experience preferred in a clinical-based position.
• BLS certification required.
• Must achieve certification to be eligible to sit for the Certified Polysomnographic Technologist exam. Certification must occur within six (6) months of hire, or employment in position may end.
• Must pass the RPSGT exam within three (3) years of hire, or employment in position may end.
• Active C.N.A. license or MA Certificate desired.
