Job Title: Skills and Development Coach

Reports to: Coach Team Leader

Location: Remote

Role Type: Remote

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Skills Coach at First Intuition, you will have the opportunity to...

  • Be part of a fantastic team and wider network, with a unique culture that values individuality, ambition, teamwork, and effort.
  • • Support a caseload of L3/4/7 accountancy apprentices working for some of the biggest names in practice and industry.
  • • Hold regular review meetings with learners and line managers.
  • • Guide learner development through their programme using our bespoke e-portfolio system, including giving feedback on portfolio submissions (non-technical).
  • • Monitor learner progression to ensure they reach their highest potential in all the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of the apprenticeship standards.
  • • Support apprentices through to End Point Assessment.
  • • Keep excellent records and relevant trackers up to date.
  • • Be able to develop yourself in many additional areas - and have fun while doing it

Requirements Essential:

  • Ability to inspire, influence and motivate, with an enthusiasm for learning.
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and professional, as you will be representing the brand to clients and apprentices.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Microsoft literate (Excel, Outlook).

Desired:

  • Accountancy background or knowledge.
  • Apprenticeship experience.
