Skilled Vehicle and Plant Technician - Days shift Pattern (Sizewell C)

The Opportunity:

Looking for your next opportunity? Look no further. We're searching for a skilled Vehicle and Plant Technician to join our amazing, friendly team. In this role, you'll help keep our mobile and static plant equipment/vehicles running at their best, ensuring they're repaired and back in service as quickly as possible.
If you enjoy taking ownership of your work, you'll have the freedom to perform diagnostics and determine the best approach to maintenance and repairs.

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses and choosing the right repair techniques.
• Daily routine running repairs
• Plant servicing/Inspections (Including Tractors and tankers)
• HGV running repairs
• LCV running repairs
• Working independently to maintain and repair plant equipment and components on site with a service van

What we are looking for:

• Ideally you will have a relevant City & Guilds or a NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or the equivalent level workplace experience.
• First class diagnostic skills and fully conversant with the latest plant repair and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to manage own workload and work to the highest standards.
• Flexible and proactive in approach.
• HGV Category C license would be beneficial but is not essential
• Full driving licence is required due to our remote location and to be able to travel to other sites.
