
This position is at Kemps Ice Cream plant a subsidiary of Dairy Farmers of America(DFA).
Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11pm--7:30am
Wage: $32.42/hour(2nd Class) full scale.
Class is based on skills and knowledge.
Requirements: BUM course completed, equivalent training, or 3 years Maintenance experience Description:
*Demonstrate the ability to work without supervision.
*Recognized by peers and production leaders as being a competent mechanic with effective problem solving & troubleshooting skills.
*Understands Equipment importance of run time while exhibiting sense of urgency.
*Basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems competency.
*Understands critical plant systems, and able to enable and/or disable as needed.
*Proficient in basic PC skills, Excel, Word and other programs as required.
*Strong oral and written communication skills within cross functional team.
*Refrigeration understanding, demonstrates Ammonia system requirements, operation and safe procedures.
*Demonstrated preventative maintenance needs, work-order and PM systems and prioritizing for plant operation.
Qualifications
BUM course completed, equivalent training, or 3 years Maintenance experience.
