This Skilled Labourer position is supporting the Tenant Improvement Team and will be working for various sites.

What you'll do:

• Read and interpret drawings to determine specifications and requirements

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of lightweight steel studs, drywall, wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

• Ceiling grid, ceiling tile, door installation, and other general handyman duties

• Able to work independently with direction

• Familiar reading plans and details an asset

• A good understanding of the construction process

• Be able to do physical work for an 8-hour shift

• Be able to follow instructions
  Pay attention to detail
  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally

• Willing to travel to different sites.

• Load, unload, and move materials and tools onto the site

• Clean work areas and equipment regularly

• Have your own vehicle and hand tools

What you'll bring:

• Must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)

• The position requires an experience of 1 to 2 years skilled labour & construction.

• The position is physically demanding and requires, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads and good hand-eye co-ordination as well as a combination of sitting, standing and walking

• The candidate may be required to work at heights, and in noisy places

Salary Range:

$25 - $30 per hour based on experience and skill level
