Requirements for Handyman

• Good overall knowledge of multiple trades, including:
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Tile
  • Electrical
• Ability to identify and use proper equipment for various tasks (not required to own every tool, but must know what is needed)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve problems promptly and professionally
• Excellent communication skills with management, office staff, fellow employees, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers
• Presentable, clean-cut appearance
• Decent looking vehicle and organized tools
• Punctual, efficient, and maintains the highest integrity
• Strives for top customer satisfaction
• Enjoys being an integral part of a winning team
• Demonstrates ability and willingness to exceed customers’ expectations
• 3+ years of handyman experience
• Own truck or van and tools
• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Collaborative, optimistic, and reliable

Responsibilities for Handyman

• Perform all types of quality handyman repairs
• Carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile work, basic plumbing, and electrical tasks
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate with customers about potential repairs or additional services the company can provide
• Earn customer confidence and inquire about additional work that could be performed
• Take initiative to fix small issues and educate customers on the company’s capabilities
• Maintain organized tools and a professional appearance
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment
• Consistently deliver high-quality craftsmanship and customer service

Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry.

Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name.
