The Skilled Laborer – Asphalt Crew performs a variety of manual labor and equipment-related tasks associated with asphalt paving, patching, grading, and roadway construction projects. This position works closely with crew members and equipment operators to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality asphalt operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Previous experience in asphalt paving, road construction, or heavy civil construction preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and working in hot conditions.
Knowledge of asphalt paving practices and construction safety procedures preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions from supervisors.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
Valid driver's license preferred.
