The Role

GrizzlyTrek is seeking a Skid Steer Operator to join our valued client's team on a project near Carnduff, Saskatchewan. This is a temporary position tied to a specific project.

If you run a skid steer well, keep a clean and safe work area, and take direction from the site team, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Operate a skid steer to move, load, and place material around the site
  • Grade, level, and clean up work areas, laydown yards, and access routes
  • Use buckets, forks, and other attachments as the work requires
  • Complete a pre-use inspection each shift and report any mechanical issues
  • Work safely around ground crews, other equipment, and truck traffic
  • Take part in tailgate meetings, hazard assessments, and site safety procedures
  • Follow direction from the site supervisor and keep your work area tidy

What You Bring

  • Proven experience operating a skid steer on construction or industrial sites
  • Comfortable working with a range of attachments
  • Safe work habits and a clear understanding of working around ground crews and moving equipment
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • CSA approved safety boots and basic PPE

Preferred Qualifications

  • H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, and Standard First Aid
  • Ground Disturbance certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Experience on oilfield lease, civil, or pipeline projects

Work Environment

  • Outdoor work in all Saskatchewan weather, including heat, cold, wind, and dust
  • Work in and around moving heavy equipment and truck traffic
  • Equipment noise and vibration through the shift
  • PPE required at all times on site
