Job Description

Pursuant to an Agreement between the Jagiellonian University and the University of Rochester, the Director of the Skalny Center for Polish and Central European Studies is pleased to announce a one-semester teaching fellowship available for Spring 2027. Applications will be considered in all fields of the humanities and social sciences.
The grant recipient will teach a single course (4 credits) offered by one of the departments in the social sciences or humanities. They will also be expected to give a public lecture to the University community and the local Polish-American community. The visiting fellow will receive a stipend of $20,000 and will be provided with a private on-campus apartment that includes a kitchen, bathroom, hall, living room, two bedrooms, and a TV.

Qualifications

Applicants must currently be faculty members at the Jagiellonian University and must have an official nomination from the Jagiellonian University Center for International Cooperation (CWM). Only nominated candidates are eligible to apply.
