Location Description

The Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania facility proudly produces iconic pet food brands like 9Lives®, Gravy Train®, and Kibbles 'n Bits®. This location also features an on-site Distribution Center, ensuring efficient delivery of products to customers.

Bloomsburg is home to Bloomsburg University, a municipal airport, and a landmark Town Park offering acres of recreational activities. The town also hosts one of the largest and longest-running fairs in the country. With so much to do and see, Bloomsburg is a great place to live, work, and play!

Responsibilities

The Site Supply Chain Manager leads the end-to-end flow of materials and finished goods for a manufacturing facility. This role oversees production planning, materials management, inventory control, warehousing, receiving, logistics, transportation, and customer service. You will help ensure the right materials arrive at the right time, production plans stay on track, and customers receive dependable service.

As a member of the site leadership team, you will lead salaried and hourly employees, collaborate across plant and corporate teams, and turn operational data into action. Your leadership will strengthen safety, food safety, service, productivity, inventory performance, and cost effectiveness while helping a close-knit team navigate change and pursue continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop salaried and hourly employees across planning, warehousing, inventory, receiving, and logistics.
• Oversee production scheduling, materials planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and customer service activities.
• Ensure a reliable inbound supply of ingredients and packaging materials to support manufacturing requirements.
• Manage the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials and finished goods.
• Improve cycle-count accuracy, inventory controls, schedule attainment, warehouse efficiency, transportation performance, and customer service.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers, transportation carriers, and external warehouse partners.
• Analyze supply chain performance and implement actions that improve service, productivity, working capital, and cost effectiveness.
• Manage departmental budgets and operating expenses.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Demand Planning, and Corporate Supply Chain teams to achieve business objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement and corrective-action initiatives that deliver measurable operational and financial results.
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Build organizational capability through employee development, thoughtful workload planning, succession planning, engagement, and cross-training.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution operations will be considered.

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading salaried and hourly employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of supply chain operations, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, logistics, and customer service.
• Experience using an enterprise resource planning system.
• Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational information, identify problems, and implement effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supply chain or logistics leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience supporting inbound materials transported by rail and truck.
• Experience partnering with third-party logistics providers, carriers, or external warehouses.
