Job Description

Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

Lead quality initiatives across a diverse supplier base, ensuring effective quality planning and execution. Support supplier selection through qualification processes and drive supplier performance improvements using data analysis and scorecards. Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and manage corrective actions when issues are identified. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance and support to resolve technical and process-related challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leads supplier quality assurance and development activities across the supplier lifecycle, including qualification, audits, action plans, and performance monitoring. Partners with suppliers to improve quality and achieve industry standards.
  • Solid knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes, with the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.
  • Uses expertise to support business goals and understands how the team's work contributes to overall organizational success.
  • Identifies and resolves complex issues independently and provides guidance to others when needed.
  • Works across teams to solve problems, serves as a key contact for stakeholders, and communicates technical requirements in a clear and actionable way.
  • Uses performance data to identify trends, determine root causes, and implement preventive actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, supplier management and project implementation

  • Support 24/7 manufacturing facilities. Occasional off-shift, on call and weekend work may be required

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $82,900.00 and $138,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
