The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor / Installer to join our team in Crestmead, QLD.

This role will be responsible for supervising and completing installation works across customer and project sites, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will lead by example on site, coordinate installation activities, support installers and subcontractors, and maintain strong communication with customers, internal teams and management.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong practical installation experience who is ready to take ownership of site coordination, quality outcomes and day-to-day supervision.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Supervise and coordinate installation activities across assigned project sites.
• Complete hands-on installation work as required.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company policies, site requirements and WHS obligations.
• Coordinate labour, materials, tools and site requirements to support efficient project delivery.
• Conduct site checks to monitor progress, quality and installation standards.
• Liaise with customers, builders, contractors and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly, escalating matters where required.
• Provide guidance and support to installers and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, project progress, site issues and variations.
• Ensure tools, equipment and vehicles are maintained and used appropriately.
• Represent Big River Panels professionally on customer and project sites.

About You

You will bring:

• Previous experience in installation, site supervision, shopfitting, joinery, cabinetry, panels, construction or a related trade environment.
• Strong practical skills and confidence working on active project sites.
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings or job specifications.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to site issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with customers, contractors and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Relevant trade qualification, construction induction card or high-risk work licence would be highly regarded.
