The primary purpose of the Site Supervisor for Quarrying, Construction and Tunnelling operations is to supervise onsite quarrying, civil works, and tunnelling blasting teams and equipment in accordance with service level agreements, corporate standards, and regulatory requirements while implementing organizational safety, health, environment and security protocols.
The role manages daily operational schedules, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, develops and motivates personnel, maintains customer relationships, and drives continuous improvement across quarrying and civil blasting operations.

Work Environment

• Monday through Friday, possible on-call
• Travel for training in other states at other sites
• Strong customer interaction
• Managing at least 4 direct reports to include CDL drivers and Blasters
• Responsibility for Orica equipment and vehicles
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in management position with operations, and employee/customer.
• Ability to analyze/impact financial data utilizing SAP, and Resource Modelling.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP and the Internet.
• Organization, attentive to detail, time management and quality control.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and other applicable regulations.
• Mechanical comprehension of operation/maintenance of equipment.
• Dangerous goods experience
• Heavy industry preferably mining experience.
• Clearance Authority – permit to work knowledge.
• Applicable driver’s license with clean driving record

Compensation
• Salary $ 78,675 - $110,145 USD annually
• Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
