Job Description

This is a role based in Adelaide, open to candidates currently based in Melbourne. The initial engagement is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend. Accommodation and a Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA) are provided, making this a strong opportunity for an experienced supervisor ready to take on a new challenge without permanently relocating

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and manage project activities to ensure they are delivered safely and efficiently without compromising on quality.

About the Role

As a Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise and coordinate onsite activities during site establishment, construction, inspection, testing, commissioning and disestablishment.
  • Ensure all construction activities prioritise safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Maintain current records for plant, equipment, and site personnel.
  • Implement Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental management plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and specifications.
  • Effectively utilise site resources in order to achieve completion of project within time frames
  • Hands on approach when it comes to resolving problems.
  • Promote Goldsmith values and culture within the project team.

About you

To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have:

  • Previous experience as a civil construction Supervisor, ideally with a specific focus on landfill construction projects
  • Experience with lining systems for landfill construction is highly preferred.
  • A demonstrated ability to manage large scale bulk earthwork projects.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Experience operating Topcon GPS rovers and machine control systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Valid working rights in Australia
