Location: Inner West Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 + Company Car

My client is a residential building company specialising in quality custom homes, renovations and extensions. With a focus on delivering personalised building solutions, they work closely with their clients to bring their vision to life while maintaining high standards of workmanship and project delivery.

With an established presence in the Sydney residential construction market, my client offers a close-knit team environment where collaboration, accountability and quality are valued. They are now looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team and oversee a portfolio of residential projects across Sydney's Inner West.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day site operations across approximately 6–7 residential projects. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to an experienced Supervisor who enjoys being on site, coordinating trades and driving construction progress from commencement through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day construction of custom residential homes, renovations and extensions across Sydney's Inner West
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the required standard
• Monitoring construction schedules and maintaining progress across your allocated projects
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with approved plans, specifications and relevant building standards
• Managing site safety and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
• Identifying and resolving site issues promptly to minimise delays and maintain construction progress
• Maintaining clear and accurate site documentation and updating construction schedules and systems
• Liaising with clients throughout the building process, providing updates and managing expectations professionally
• Working closely with the Construction Manager to report on project progress, challenges and key milestones
• Ensuring all projects are delivered to the company's quality standards, established processes and client expectations

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced residential construction professional with a strong background in hands-on site supervision. You will be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and understand the complexities involved in delivering custom homes, renovations and extensions.

Ideally, you will bring:

• 10+ years of building industry experience, with a strong background in residential construction
• Demonstrated experience supervising custom homes, renovations, extensions or knock-down rebuild projects
• A hands-on approach to site management, with the ability to coordinate trades and manage daily construction activities
• Experience managing multiple residential projects concurrently, ideally across different stages of construction
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, quality control and site safety
• Excellent communication and trade coordination skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with clients and subcontractors
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands across multiple sites
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to resolving construction issues
• The ability to follow established systems and processes while contributing positively to a tight-knit team
