The role

We are seeking a motivated Site Supervisor to join our team for a key hydropower project based in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The role will involve supervising day-to-day civil construction activities, ensuring work is carried out safely and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

The successful candidate will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site teams to monitor progress and ensure timely and quality execution of works.

  • Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
  • Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering activities for the hydropower project.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor the progress of construction activities and report any deviations from the schedule.
  • Ensure that all civil engineering work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify that work is progressing as per design and project requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and materials specifications.
  • Assist in managing project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Support senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.

You will bring proven experience in a similar consultancy role, along with a strong ability to build trusted relationships, drive positive change and secure new opportunities.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

  • Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. B.Sc in Civil Engineering)
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in civil construction or site supervision.
  • Previous experience working on hydropower, infrastructure, dams or other major civil construction projects will be highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of civil construction methods, site activities, and construction practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team.
