Job Description

Our client, a leading Civil & Utilities contractor, is currently seeking a Site Supervisor for a major NTA infrastructure project in Lucan, Dublin The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting the delivery of works in line with project plans. The preferred candidate will have hands-on experience in civil works and a strong understanding of site coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to meet project targets.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforce safety protocols.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain site records including daily logs and inspection reports.
• Assist in resolving on-site issues and escalating where necessary.
• Ensure plant and materials are used safely and effectively.
• Support the Site Agent and Project Manager with progress reporting.
• Liaise with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Requirements:

• Trade background or qualification in Construction or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role on civil projects.
• Strong understanding of site safety and construction practices.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate site teams.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
