Job Description

The Site Supervisor shall be responsible for supporting and overseeing site execution activities at project and industrial sites, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role requires effective coordination with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and client representatives to facilitate smooth project execution and timely completion.

Role Purpose

The Site Supervisor shall be responsible for supporting and overseeing site execution activities at project and industrial sites, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role requires effective coordination with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and client representatives to facilitate smooth project execution and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site execution activities in line with project requirements.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and established project timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for seamless site operations.
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Identify and escalate site issues, technical deviations, delays, and risks to the project team for timely resolution.
• Experience in Metal projects, 400/220KV Substation,33KV&11KV transmission& distribution line.
• Review material availability at site and ensure proper utilization to avoid delays and wastage.
• Experience in installation of IO panels, Motors & MV drive panels, MCC, UPS, Encoders, Transducers & CCTV.
• Maintain and update site progress records, daily reports, inspection records, and other relevant documentation.
• Participate in site inspections, progress review meetings, and discussions with clients and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures, site regulations, and organizational policies.
• Support resolution of technical and execution-related issues arising during project implementation.
• Act as the primary site-level interface for client coordination, issue resolution, and execution planning.
• Maintain site discipline, housekeeping, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Required Competencies

• Bachelors of Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical with 12-15 Yrs of experience
• Sound understanding of site execution, construction supervision, and project coordination.
• Working knowledge of industrial site safety standards, quality requirements, and compliance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Familiarity with installation, testing, and commissioning activities in industrial/project site environments.

Preferred Profile

• Proven experience in execution and supervision at industrial and project sites.
• Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously in a dynamic site environment.
• Willingness to travel and work at various project locations as required.
