Are you a detail-oriented construction professional who prides themselves on high standards and site safety? We are looking for a Site Manager to help drive the success of our projects in Glasgow.
You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of subcontractors, deliveries, and site operatives. This is more than just a supervisory role; it’s about ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the exceptional quality standards our clients expect. If you have experience in social housing (particularly kitchen and bathroom contracts), we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will support Senior Management by maintaining the operational heartbeat of the site. Your focus will include:
Leading daily labor and plant allocations, managing site strategy for hazard awareness, and ensuring compliance with Company Safety and Environmental policies.
Maintaining meticulous site records, including H&S inductions, Risk & COSHH assessments, and material logs.
Carrying out daily inspections, checking compliance with specifications, and managing the "Handover to Client" process, including closing out defects.
Working closely with Senior Managers and Customer Learning Officers (CLOs) while attending weekly/monthly progress meetings.
Providing guidance and support to trainees, apprentices, and work experience personnel.
We are looking for a proactive leader who can motivate trades while keeping a sharp eye on the data.
SSSTS and First Aid at Work certifications.
Ability to pass a DBS/Disclosure check and a full clean driving license.
Proven experience in site or contract management, with the ability to read design drawings and implement recovery plans when necessary.
Confident using technology to program works, provide reports, and maintain accurate site data.
Experience specifically within social housing kitchen and bathroom contracts is highly advantageous.
