Reporting to the Area Construction Manager, the Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating site‑based construction activities to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. This role provides frontline leadership across contractors and subcontractors, ensuring construction activities are appropriately sequenced, well‑managed, and aligned with project performance goals. As a competent construction professional, the Construction Supervisor applies sound technical judgement and practical experience to evaluate construction methods, monitor contractor performance, and support successful project delivery across safety, quality, schedule, and cost outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
About You
You will bring demonstrated supervisory experience within major projects or heavy or industrial construction environments, supported by a relevant trade qualification. You have 5–10 years’ onsite construction experience and a proven ability to lead discipline‑focused site teams while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety. You are a confident communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and are comfortable managing contractor performance and resolving issues professionally. You have a strong working knowledge of the EPCM project delivery model and can practically interpret and apply industry standards and good construction practices. You thrive in collaborative environments, are results‑driven, and bring integrity, accountability, and professionalism to all aspects of your work.
