Site Superintendent – ICI New Build

$135K-$155K + Vehicle Allowance + Benefits

A reputable ICI General Contractor is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to take over a ground-up institutional project in mid town Toronto.

About the Role
You’ll lead all on-site construction activities for an institutional build. This role suits someone who is strong with scheduling, trade coordination, safety enforcement, and solving problems on complex, fast-moving projects.

What You Will Be Doing

Oversee daily site operations from structural steel through to close-out

Coordinate trades, enforce safety standards, and maintain a well-run site

Update schedules, monitor risks, and ensure milestones remain on track

Work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, inspectors, and internal teams

Maintain quality control and ensure work meets specifications

Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholders

What You Bring

5–10+ years of Site Superintendent experience on ICI new-build construction

Experience with medium-to-large ICI builds (schools, clinics, warehouse, big-box, etc.)

Proven ability to take over an active site and quickly establish structure and stability

Strong understanding of structural steel, envelope, and interior construction sequences

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Valid health & safety certifications (WHMIS, Working at Heights, Supervisor H&S, etc.)
