Site Store In-charge - Noida
Qualification:
• B. Com. / M. Com. from a recognized university.
Experience:
Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in store management and administration, preferably inthe construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction materials and inventory software. Material receipt and issue control,stock monitoring and reconciliation, maintaining minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials, ensuring quality and quantity asper purchase orders and delivery challans
Inventory & Material Management
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials as per Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Challans (DCs), and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Verify the quantity, quality, specifications, and condition of all incoming materials before acceptance.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to site teams based on approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation with physical inventory.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Prevent material shortages, overstocking, and wastage.
Store Operations
- Organize and maintain the store layout for easy identification and accessibility of materials.
- Ensure proper storage, preservation, stacking, and handling of construction materials.
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the store premises.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while storing hazardous or sensitive materials.
- Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) or FEFO (First Expiry First Out), wherever applicable.
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain GRNs, Stock Registers, Issue Registers, Gate Passes, Material Transfer Notes, and other store documents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Update inventory records in ERP/Inventory Management Software.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and management reviews.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Procurement, Purchase, Project Engineers, Site Managers, and Vendors regarding material availability.
- Follow up on pending deliveries and shortages with the purchase department.
- Assist in planning material requirements for ongoing construction activities.
- Coordinate with finance for stock valuation and reconciliation.
Inventory Control
- Monitor slow-moving, fast-moving, obsolete, damaged, and excess inventory.
- Ensure proper coding and identification of all construction materials.
- Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts.
- Reduce inventory losses due to pilferage, damage, or improper handling.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper documentation for ISO or quality management systems, if applicable.
