About the Role

The Site Services Administrator I provides on-site and remote IT support for Cattron EU locations, covering desktop computing (software and hardware management) and user lifecycle administration. The role is based in our Liberec office and serves as the primary IT point of contact for our European offices, as well as occasional remote support for Americas locations.

Our IT environment is dynamic and continuously evolving. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable shifting priorities, and is not afraid to take on.

This is a mainly on-site position. Over time, the role provides exposure to infrastructure, endpoint management, cloud administration, with a structured path toward L2 responsibilities and broader systems work.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, manage, configure and troubleshoot local and remote PCs, laptops, phones, printers, and other client-side equipment, including basic administration of local site systems, providing high levels of customer service
  • Provide day-to-day L1 IT support for end users in Liberec (on-site), remote support for European offices and occasional remote support for offices in the Americas
  • Manage user lifecycle — onboarding, offboarding, and account administration in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune
  • Work with the RMM platform for device monitoring, remote support, and basic automation
  • Assist with ticket classification and resolution; escalate and coordinate L2 incidents where required
  • Assist with maintenance activities for site servers, switches, and other IT equipment as needed
  • Maintain and create documentation, work instructions, and knowledge base articles
  • Adhere to, enforce, and support IT policies, processes, and procedures
  • Project work related to the implementation of new technology tools.
  • Occasional travel to our European offices
  • Gradually take on L2 responsibilities in line with experience and interest

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
  • Understanding of Windows env., on-premises AD, Microsoft 365 / Entra ID / Azure
  • Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and operations (DNS, DHCP, VPN, switches)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and schedules
  • Driving license category B
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Exposure to endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, RMM platforms, VMware
  • Basic Linux knowledge
  • PowerShell scripting basics
  • German language
  • IT certification is a plus (e.g. Microsoft MD-102, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent)
