Job Description

The Security Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This position involves overseeing security personnel, implementing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of security operations.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security staff to ensure effective monitoring of premises.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security risks and implement appropriate measures.
• Manage surveillance systems including CCTV, ensuring all equipment is operational and footage is reviewed as necessary.
• Train security personnel in conflict management techniques and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and daily activities for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.

Skills

• Proficient in surveillance operations including CCTV monitoring.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications in security or law enforcement are preferred.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a culture of safety and vigilance.
