OUR TEAM

In the Safety Team, we work closely with employees, managers, and operational teams to prevent workplace risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and continuously strengthen safety practices across the site.

MISSION

In this role, he/she/they will:

1. Ensure safety compliance and risk prevention

Support the implementation of legal requirements, Michelin safety standards, and the site's HSE Management System while identifying risks and ensuring appropriate preventive actions are implemented.

2. Support safe operations and projects

Partner with managers and operational teams to integrate safety into daily activities, projects, equipment changes, contractor activities, and emergency preparedness.

3. Build a sustainable safety culture

Provide technical safety expertise, training, and coaching to employees and managers while promoting proactive safety behaviors and continuous improvement across the site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitoring changes in occupational safety regulations and Michelin requirements and conducting compliance gap assessments

  • Conducting workplace risk assessments and developing action plans to eliminate or control priority risks

  • Supporting safety requirements for new projects, equipment installation, modifications, and commissioning

  • Investigating accidents and near misses, performing root cause analysis, and following up on corrective and preventive actions

  • Conducting workplace safety inspections and ensuring identified actions are effectively implemented

  • Managing safety requirements for contractors, visitors, and other external personnel

  • Supporting managers and operational teams in implementing shopfloor safety programs and initiatives

  • Coordinating safety training, awareness activities, and competency development

  • Maintaining accurate safety indicators, documentation, and regulatory reporting

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field

  • 0 - 3 years of experience in occupational safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment; new graduates with relevant safety internship experience are welcome

  • Knowledge of workplace hazard identification, risk assessment, risk control, and emergency response

  • Understanding of Thai occupational safety regulations and basic international safety standards

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders

  • Good communication in both Thai and English language

Preferred

  • Internship or working experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Knowledge of safety management systems and continuous improvement practices
