As Site Reliability Engineer you will be part of Platform Operations Global Team responsible for managing infrastructure and services for custom Java-based and 3rd Party applications stack in KION Group IT. You will take responsibility to develop, operate and improve our infrastructure and services.

Tasks and Qualifications:

  • Design, build, and evolve cloud-based platform infrastructure, including development of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP)

  • Automate platform components, application deployments, and recurring operational tasks to improve efficiency and reliability

  • Implement and enhance observability capabilities, including monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting based on SLOs

  • Ensure platform availability, stability, and compliance with KION quality and security standards

  • Improve KION IT Services reliability:

    • Facilitate blameless postmortems

    • Derive improvement measures

    • Maintain and work on the operational issues backlog

  • Support onboarding of new 3rd‑party and SaaS solutions to the team

  • Contribute to maintaining operational readiness, including participation in the team’s on‑call rotation

  • Operate, monitor, and take over custom-built and 3rd‑party Java-based applications on the platform, transitioning them from project teams to operations

Your Skills and Expertise:

  • 3 years of working experience in a similar position (SRE/DevOps or related)

  • Ability to debug, optimize, and automate routine tasks and deployments

  • Familiarity with setting up and enhancing product monitoring

  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions on your own

  • Demonstrable Agile mindset and willingness to learn and develop

  • Fluent English, written and spoken
