Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Site Readiness Project Management Leader (Level M) to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, Missouri

This role will report directly to the Vice President of BDS St. Louis Site Readiness and will be responsible for maturing the strategy and plan to help ensure the site is positioned to meet commitments, respond effectively to change, and achieve and sustain business stability.

This position performs business management activities; develops and executes integrated organizational plans; guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives; and acquires resources to support organizational activities. Key areas of focus include critical capacity management, baseline management, change control, and RIO management to enable a stable and predictable business environment. This leader partners closely with site leadership and key functional stakeholders, establishes and maintains a disciplined operating cadence that supports proactive decision-making, and drives strong execution to achieve business commitments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated site readiness plans to support business stability and commitment performance.
  • Lead site governance for capacity management, baseline control, change control, and RIO management.
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment across site, leveraging site Oobeya to integrate with GREF, operations, engineering, finance, supply chain, and program teams to align priorities and resolve constraints.
  • Establish and maintain an operating cadence to assess readiness, review risks, and drive timely decisions.
  • Coordinate actions across project managers and functional leaders to ensure execution and accountability.
  • Provide performance reporting, trend analysis, and risk visibility to support leadership decision-making.
  • Drive process discipline, standard work, and continuous improvement to improve site predictability.
  • Develop decision-support tools, metrics, and planning artifacts to improve transparency and effectiveness.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 7+ years of Program Management, Project Management, and/or Business Operations experience
  • 7+ years of excellent use with Microsoft Office Products - Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • 7+ years of experience demonstrating strong time management, collaboration, decision-making, and leadership strengths in written and verbal communications
  • 5+ years of experience working with executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher
  • Experience integrating and communicating across all levels in an organization
  • Lean fundamentals and project execution
  • Digital platforms and analytics
  • Organization and culture development
  • Expertise in program management best practices (PMBP)

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)
