Site Quality Auditor
Objective
The QA/QC Auditor is responsible for conducting systematic audits and inspections of site processes, products, and systems to ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and external regulations. This role is a blend of Quality Assurance (process-focused) and Quality Control (product-focused) activities.
Essential Functions
·Internal Audits: Plan, execute, and report on internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS) and operational processes (e.g., production, warehousing, maintenance) to verify compliance with documented procedures and ISO standards .
·Product Inspection: Perform detailed, scheduled, and unscheduled inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to confirm they meet quality specifications.
·Documentation Review: Review batch records, inspection reports, and other quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
·Non-Conformance Follow-up: Document audit findings and non-conformances, and follow up with process owners to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions.
·Contract Compliance: Stay current with relevant regulations and standards, ensuring site practices are compliant.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports.
Work Environment
Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.
Physical Demands
Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, normally working 8 hours per day. This position may require overtime.
Travel
This position has no travel requirements.
Required Education and Experience
·High School Diploma or equivalent.
·Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or auditing role.
·Strong knowledge of auditing principles and techniques. Ability to use various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers). Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
·Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
Preferred Education and Experience
Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
Computer Operations
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Credential).
