In Egypt, Siemens Mobility is delivering one of the country’s first high-speed rail system. Today, we are recruiting for a Site Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Inspect incoming vehicles to ensure compliance with inspection instructions, documenting results upon completion.
• Update and monitor open points within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Cormap, ensuring timely processing and proper communication of all open items.
• Perform quality assurance activities and ensure the documentation of vehicle inspection results in accordance with defined specifications and standards.
• Perform COM-phase vehicle inspections (including visual checks and partial functional tests), documenting any deviations or notable findings in the CMMS, and communicating open points regularly to responsible parties.
• Monitor and verify implemented modifications to ensure compliance with quality standards and specified requirements.
• Contribute to and support the quality-compliant handover of trainsets to the customer.
• Provide support in coordinating activities of external companies if necessary.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Must have an educational degree or vocational training in a mechanical field.
• 5-8 years of proven technical hands-on experience in a mechanical scope.
• Professional experience in quality assurance, ensuring compliance with defined standards and processes is a must.
• Experience within the Rail, Automotive, or Transport Industry is a must.
• Strong awareness of quality and cost efficiency.
• Solid IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good in Arabic and English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
• Team player with a proactive and goal-oriented mindset.
• Flexible and willing to travel.
