Objective:

Provides support to Area Manager and Construction Managers for all aspects related to Engineering and Procurement required to enable construction and precommissioning sustaining project schedule for the areas or Contracts assigned to her/him. Liaise with project management, engineering and procurement office organizations, as well as Vendors and Suppliers, in order to retrieve, clarify or obtain any relevant engineering and procurement information required to enable construction on Site.

Responsibilities:
He/she is relocated to Site, where manages all Engineering and Procurement interfaces for the Areas or Contracts assigned to her/him.

Responsible for ensuring that all required Engineering and Procurement information are timely available, monitor and direct the creation of CWP for the scope included in the areas or Contract assigned to her/him. Interacts with Field Engineering, Site Planning and Material Management organizations in order to ensure that required information is available for Construction team to properly plan the Site works. Contacts Vendors, Suppliers, Project Management, Engineering and Procurement at corporate offices as required to get timely and proactively any missing information.

Works with others on the project and Site team to develop technical/functional solutions to achieve strategic project objectives; optimizing construction sequences. Works with self-initiated interaction with relevant stakeholders; acts as a key resource and without need of close supervision regarding her/his area of responsibility.

Has enough experience and has ability required to provide input and solve difficult/specialized technical issues that require an extensive knowledge related to technical/functional project field. Suggests possible solutions to Area Manager and Construction Managers and sicuss with them path forward.

Has sound and robust knowledge and experience of steel, mechanical, piping and coating works on Site; highly preferred as well a working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installation works on Site.

Requirements:
University Degree, typically engineering with mechanical background, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically 10+ years relevant experience (project engineering/management in EPC Company) including Site experience on complex construction projects. Nice to have: Site Construction supervisory experience. technical experience. Ability to communicate in English is required.
