Job Description

Audubon is currently seeking a Site Night Watch to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Site Night Watch will maintain continuous oversight of the construction site over nights during both working and non-working hours, preventing unauthorized access, monitoring safety risks, and reporting incidents promptly.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record individuals who enter the job site.
  • Document any activity that takes place on site during the night shift.
  • Maintain vigilance over jobsite while construction is or isn’t taking place.
  • Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards to supervisors & proper law enforcement.
  • Conduct of routine foot/vehicle patrols in and around property.
  • Enforces vehicle speed per site rules.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

  • All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:
  • Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
  • Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
  • Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
  • Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • A year of experience in the construction industry is recommended.
  • Must be able to obtain site & Safety training certifications required for the project.
  • Construction safety practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently when required.
  • Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
