Luck Stones Bealeton Plant is seeking a Mobile Equipment Mechanic I to perform maintenance and repair of mobile heavy equipment, involved in extraction, crushing, and conveying of aggregate stone products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• 80% of job: Preventative Maintenance of mobile equipment
• 10% of job: Reactive Maintenance of mobile equipment
• 10% of job: Equipment Management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED, trade school a plus

Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of work experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing mobile equipment. Fundamental skill in systems operation, testing and adjusting of hydraulic, electrical and powertrain systems.

Technical Competencies:

• Manage Equipment, Maintenance / Repairs
• Manage Inventory and Utilize Computer Systems
• Preventative Maintenance – SOP Services
• Wear Items (Ex. Ground Engagement Tools)
• Electrical, Hydraulic Systems, Transmissions (Including Torque Convertors) , Engine ,Differentials, Final Drives, and Brakes
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment

ENVIRONMENT OR PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Ability to work under conditions of: frequent exposure to dusty conditions and the full range of weather conditions; frequently in, on, and around quarry high walls and pit; extended periods working from elevated positions or in tunnels.
