Site Merchandiser – HBCo (Corporate)

This position is Hybrid working from our Legacy West Support Center located in Plano, Texas.

About the Role

The Site Merchandiser is responsible for the end-to-end execution of online merchandising initiatives that support an exceptional customer experience across HBCo ecommerce channels. This role manages item setup, product content, promotions, category optimization, and landing page execution while partnering cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, and Buying teams. The position also analyzes site performance and customer behavior metrics to drive improvements in conversion, traffic, customer satisfaction, and overall sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage item setup and ensure all SKUs are launched accurately and within established timelines, including product naming conventions, attributes, categorization, keywords, SEO support, content, and copy. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to secure required assets and leverage AI-driven enhancements where applicable.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, and Buying teams to optimize category and brand landing pages, supporting initiatives designed to increase traffic, conversion, and sales.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc performance reporting for leadership using site analytics and category sales data. Analyze trends and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, including ratings and review platforms, returns providers, and customer experience partners to enhance online shopping experiences, customer feedback programs, and site functionality.
  • Support quality assurance efforts by reviewing and validating monthly website content, promotional pages, email links, product information, and site functionality.
  • Partner with Customer Service teams to resolve customer experience issues and improve digital shopping outcomes.
  • Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Merchandising, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of ecommerce experience supporting a multi-channel retail organization.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, site analytics tools, ratings and reviews solutions, and search optimization tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, GA4, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across Merchandising, Marketing, IT, Product, and Customer Service teams.
  • Experience analyzing digital performance metrics and translating insights into actionable business recommendations.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

This will be a hybrid role required to be onsite at the corporate office on specified days. The work environment generally involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated.

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, and occasional lifting or carrying of office equipment and materials.
