Responsibilities

The Site Merchandiser plays a critical role in driving the performance of our digital storefront by leveraging data to inform merchandising strategy, enhance the customer journey, and optimize product placement. This position is responsible for analyzing ecommerce metrics and driving actionable insights that support revenue growth, conversion improvements and customer engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute actionable insights to drive merchandising and site experience improvements
  • Optimize product placement and user experience across key pages and categories
  • Execute the daily product sort strategy to align with sales and customer behavior
  • Deliver category content reporting, including performance of visual navigation and inline content
  • Ownership of filter updates based on customer behavior and business needs
  • Collaborate with tech and product teams to drive site enhancements and resolve issues
  • Provide reporting and recommendations for on-site search performance
  • Manage on-site search results and collaborate with SEO team to optimize results and drive conversion
  • Review website daily to ensure category accuracy across sorts, filters, etc.
  • Ownership of color separated pages in sort strategy and execution
  • Participate in weekly merchandising, and digital marketing meetings to understand key business trends and merchandising strategies
  • Complete analysis of key competitors & best-in class online retailers to understand new functionality and digital experiences
  • Partner with Express engineering and development, where applicable, to ensure the smoothest integrations and the highest level of site performance

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Years of Experience: 3-5 years of related work experience in ecommerce
  • Experience in e-commerce merchandising, site operations, or digital analytics
  • Analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Excel, or Looker
  • Understanding of site navigation, filter logic, and digital merchandising principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to translate data into action
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

CRITICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, a willingness to learn
  • eCommerce Apparel experience preferred
  • Up to date with the latest trends and fashion forecasting
