As a Site Mechanical Piping Construction Field Engineer you will be responsible for providing input, support and guidance to the site construction supervision team of Worley and subcontractors, providing direct interface with the Customer and their personnel.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight and support for piping and welding activities during construction.
  • Review engineering, construction, and field change documentation for compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
  • Support the Site Construction Supervision team in resolving technical issues related to piping systems and welding processes.
  • Monitor site activities and identify non-conformances, recommending corrective actions where required.
  • Participate in safety reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure safe and compliant project execution.
  • Prepare technical reports, review comments, and correspondence for the Customer in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the Customer, contractors, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of piping and welding engineering experience on large-scale projects.
  • Nuclear industry experience is required.
  • Knowledge of piping systems, welding processes, and applicable codes and standards.

  • Ability to analyze, communicate, influence and persuade.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian is a plus.
  • Proactive team player, proven to be effective in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Organized and disciplined, capability to plan and schedule tasks and events.
  • Understanding of project schedules.
