This is a key role for our manufacturing site in Reinsdorf, where you will lead site-specific industrialization and manufacturing projects, ensuring their successful transition into serial production. Acting as the key interface to the central project organization, you will drive project execution, manufacturing readiness, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities :

Project Management

  • Create, maintain, and monitor project plans
  • Lead project reviews and define corrective action plans
  • Prepare project status reports and action plans
  • Participate in Design Reviews and QUAD Reviews
  • Ensure a smooth and successful production launch phase

Manufacturing & Industrialization

  • Define the global industrial scenario in line with project scope and objectives
  • Support projects from the early feasibility and quotation phases
  • Ensure implementation of corporate manufacturing standards
  • Secure equipment and capacity availability throughout project execution
  • Lead industrialization activities in injection molding, painting, and assembly operations
  • Take ownership of production assets during the project development phase
  • Ensure successful transfer of manufacturing equipment and processes to plant operations
  • Manage manufacturing costs, cycle times, manpower requirements, and logistics processes
  • Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Continuous Improvement

  • Define improvement actions and continuous improvement project plans
  • Conduct reviews, track action plans, and provide regular reporting
  • Ensure structured and sustainable production launch processes

Responsibilities & Decision-Making Authority

  • Lead all site-related manufacturing and industrialization projects
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality targets
  • Manage project budgets and approve expenditures within defined authority levels
  • Provide functional leadership to internal and external project teams
  • Exercise project-related authority within the scope of assigned responsibilities (non-disciplinary)
  • Approve project milestones and project-related purchase requests
  • Escalate budget or schedule deviations when required

Profile :

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Engineering, or a comparable discipline
  • REFA certification is an advantage
  • Strong MS Office skills as well as experience with CAD and ERP systems
  • Professional experience in manufacturing development and industrialization, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Several years of project management experience
  • Deep understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, including assembly, painting, logistics, and production equipment
  • Experience in budgeting, cost calculation, and investment planning
  • Strong communication skills, resilience, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Structured working style, strong problem-solving skills, and a hands-on mentality
  • Business fluent in German and Englisch (both is a must have)
  • Open to travel
