RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contact with the PO Sales Department and the Customer regarding requests for engineering changes (OPTICHANGE).
  • Preparing cost calculations in line with PO policy and Customer requirements.Ensuring that cost calculations are compliant with the PO Division strategy.
  • Defining the team responsible for executing OPTICHANGE engineering changes.
  • Preparing the budget and implementation plan, taking into account the assumptions of all involved departments.
  • Ensuring effective communication with PO Plants and Customers in case of issues or delays during quotation or implementation.
  • Ensuring proper validation of changes, including execution of the PPAP process.
  • Monitoring alignment between the quoted assumptions and actual expenditures (any deviation must be approved).
  • Ensuring that all documentation complies with PO rules.
  • Ensuring reporting in accordance with PO requirements and/or ISO TS 16949 and/or ISO 14001 standards.
  • Managing the engineering change budget (including reporting of working hours in POMS and investment tracking).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher technical education.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a development/R&D department.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing and quoting engineering changes.
  • Knowledge of the APQP system.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Category B driving licence.
  • English at B2 level.
