As the Site Manager at the Susquehanna Plant, you will oversee daily operations of Westinghouse work at the site. This will include Maintenance, Projects, Radiation Protection, Site Security, and other station support organizations. Additionally, you will be responsible for site management of outage, planned, and emergent scopes of work at the plant.
You will report to the Director of MMC Operations and will be located on site at the Susquehanna plant in Salem Township, PA.
Ensuring sufficient qualified personnel are available to execute assigned work tasks
Direct responsibility for day-to-day operations at an assigned site
Supervise WEC site staff
Compliance with the site Safety Program
Coordinate direct hire of personnel, staff and craft
Oversight of subcontractors on site
Manage assigned scope of work
Command and control of first-time evolutions
Primary interface with station management staff on a daily basis
Interface and hold meetings with the Site VP and/or Plant Manager on a scheduled basis
Identify cost reduction measures
Identify opportunities for improvement
Help develop and implement solutions to productivity issues
Accountability for WEC safety and ALARA goals and objectives
Spend considerable amount of time in the field observing work activities
Participate in Work Observation Programs and ensure participation by team members
Identify barriers to success and pursue permanent changes to increase productivity
Responsibility for financial reporting
Supervise and monitor work control process for WEC activities
Maintain a current listing of all WEC personnel, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on site. This list will include after-hours emergency notification, pager, cell phone, address, and alternate contacts
7+ years Nuclear Maintenance/Construction Management demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and performance
Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or related field
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Technical knowledge of major component replacements, work processes, and equipment utilized in the nuclear industry
General Safety and OSHA regulations knowledge
Building Trades labor management knowledge
Basic labor contract requirements knowledge
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $144,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year.
