Position Overview
Large-scale real estate developer is seeking a senior Site Manager to take full ownership of field execution across major ground-up multifamily developments ranging from 250 to 1,500 units.
This role exists because large-scale projects fail when field execution becomes reactive instead of operationally disciplined. The company needs a true onsite operator who can drive momentum, maintain accountability across trades, solve problems early, and ensure projects move forward without operational breakdowns.
This is not a coordination role. This is a high-accountability field leadership position responsible for keeping major projects organized, on schedule, and execution-focused from pre-construction through turnover.
The right person understands how to run complex active jobsites with urgency, structure, and strong decision-making under pressure.
Yiddish speaking preferred.
Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Execution
• Own onsite execution from pre-construction through project completion
• Drive daily field operations across large-scale multifamily developments
• Maintain accountability, urgency, and operational discipline across the site
• Lead coordination between subcontractors, consultants, engineers, architects, and field teams
Scheduling & Operational Control
• Drive project sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination
• Identify operational risks early and resolve issues before they impact timelines
• Ensure field execution aligns with project milestones and delivery expectations
• Maintain organized site logistics and operational flow across all phases
Problem Solving & Accountability
• Solve construction, coordination, and execution issues quickly and decisively
• Escalate critical issues appropriately while maintaining project momentum
• Hold subcontractors and field teams accountable for execution standards
• Maintain strong ownership presence onsite throughout the project lifecycle
Ownership Partnership
• Partner directly with ownership and senior leadership throughout project execution
• Provide operational visibility and execution confidence across active developments
• Ensure projects remain financially and operationally aligned with business goals
Requirements
• Proven experience leading ground-up multifamily construction projects
• Experience managing large-scale projects preferred (250+ units)
• Strong field operations and pre-construction experience
• Ability to lead large active jobsites with multiple trades simultaneously
• Strong decision-making, coordination, and execution skills
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
• Ability to maintain structure and accountability across complex projects
• Yiddish speaking preferred
• Must be onsite in Brooklyn, NY
