Site Manager – Pharmaceutical Project | Athlone
Our client a Tier 1 leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major pharmaceutical construction project in Athlone. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development delivering technically complex works within a regulated environment. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a proven track record managing subcontractors onsite, and a solid understanding of health & safety and quality standards within pharmaceutical or industrial construction projects.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations across all phases of the project. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour on-site
Ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule and to specification. Monitor project progress and report updates to senior management
Conduct regular site inspections and enforce health & safety procedures
Liaise with client representatives, consultants and design teams
Manage quality control procedures in line with pharmaceutical standards
Oversee material deliveries, site logistics and workforce planning
Maintain accurate site records, permits and daily reports
Requirements
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Site Manager role
Previous experience delivering pharmaceutical or industrial construction projects
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Relevant construction qualification or trade background
Full clean driver’s licence
