Site Manager | Bellevue Hill

Lead the presentation and maintenance of premium gardens and sporting facilities at a high-profile Bellevue Hill site.

We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of a prestigious site in Bellevue Hill.

With responsibility spanning sports turf, playing surfaces and high-quality gardens, you’ll lead an onsite team to ensure the entire site is maintained safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard.

You’ll coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, manage resources and monitor the quality of work across the site. Just as importantly, you’ll build a strong relationship with our client through regular communication, proactive problem-solving and a commitment to delivering consistently great outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coordinate the onsite team across sports turf and horticultural maintenance
• Plan and schedule maintenance programs for playing surfaces, turf areas, gardens and landscaped spaces
• Oversee turf maintenance including mowing, renovation, fertilising, weed and pest management and seasonal programs
• Coordinate horticultural works including planting, pruning, hedging, fertilising and plant health
• Monitor the condition, presentation and performance of sporting facilities, turf and garden areas
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify maintenance priorities and develop work plans
• Coordinate staff, equipment, materials and other resources to ensure works are completed efficiently
• Work closely with the client, providing regular updates, responding to requests and proactively resolving issues
• Maintain site records and provide regular reporting to management
• Support, coach and develop team members and apprentices
• Champion safe work practices and ensure work is completed in line with site requirements

About You

You’re an experienced sports turf, horticulture or grounds maintenance professional who understands what it takes to maintain a large, high-quality site.

You combine strong technical knowledge with practical leadership skills and take pride in achieving an excellent standard across playing surfaces, turf and landscaped areas.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Strong experience across horticulture, sports turf, grounds maintenance or a combination of these areas
• Previous experience leading or supervising an operational team
• Sound knowledge of turf maintenance, renovation, mowing, fertilising, weed and pest management
• Practical knowledge of horticultural maintenance including pruning, planting, hedging and plant care
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple maintenance programs
• An eye for detail and a strong understanding of site presentation and quality standards
• Confidence communicating with clients and building positive working relationships
• Good computer skills for scheduling, reporting and general site administration
• A practical, proactive approach and the ability to respond effectively when priorities change
• A valid White Card and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them
• Willingness to undertake a National Police Check as required for the site
